CSIA Central AGM and Pro Days Weekend

From December 13 – 15, 2024 CSIA Central will be hosting the CSIA Central AGM and Pro Days at Holiday Mountain Ski Resort at La Riviere MB.  The CSIA Central Board is excited to see everyone come on out and ski into the season with Pro Day sessions and Course Conductor Training.  CSIA will also be hosting a Level 1 Certification the same weekend, so if you know of anyone who is interested in taking the course, be sure to have them register at www.snowpro.com.  Details for the weekend are as follows:

-Pro Days are offered to members 25 years old and under for FREE. For members 26 year and older, the cost is $50 plus tax.

-Social activities – Meet & Greet, banquet and meal plan option, please register with CSIA Central board at csiacentral@gmail.com

-Lift ticket will be offered on site at 50% off.

CSIA Central Scholarships

The CSIA Central Board has dedicated funds to assist members on building their skills and mindset of skiing and teaching.  These funds will be allocated to successful applicants who apply in writing to csiacentral@gmail.com subject: CSIA Central Scholarship.

The scholarship for each successful applicant is up to $1500 and 3 scholarships are allocated for each province – Manitoba, NW Ontario and Saskatchewan.

CSIA Central Hall of Fame

The CSIA Central Hall of Fame/Alumni Project and Committee is dedicated to preserving the history of our region, inspiring and encouraging the development of young instructors, and recognizing members from Saskatchewan, Manitoba and NW Ontario, who have made a significant contribution to the growth and well-being of the CSIA on a regional scale and to the sport of skiing and ski teaching.

The three categories in which recognition can be awarded are the following specific areas of contribution and are based on the criteria for the National Hall of Fame awards:

• Inspirational Leaders

• Special Contributors
